This image represents both radio and optical observations. Radio emission appears green, while optical data is blue and red (the red portions are the galaxiesΓÇÖ denser regions; those in blue are more diffuse outer areas).
The elliptical galaxy NGC 7018, in the upper left, generates two powerful radio jets that feed matter and energy into the green lobes. The bright green ΓÇ£hotΓÇ¥ areas on the outer edge of each lobe are thought to be the end points of the jets. The other radio source, near the bottom of the image, is produced by elliptical galaxy NGC 7016. Like NGC 7018, this radio galaxy has two jets moving in opposite directions, but NGC 7016ΓÇÖs jets, unlike those of NGC 7018, gradually widen and fade. It
